Meet The Team
I am passionate about helping individuals with autism and developmental challenges gain access to the lives they and their families dream of. I emphasize the importance of serving the whole child, and go beyond behavioral aspects, taking a wholistic approach that considers each person's emotional, social, and developmental well-being. I am committed to fostering positive outcomes that are relevant to your individual family. I am passionate about advocating for resources in order to ensure that your child will have access to the necessary support and services for their continued growth and success.
With 15 years of experience in behavior analysis, working in every part of the industry, I hold a double degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master’s in Special Education from Arizona State University. Additionally, I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and hold an Advanced Independent Facilitator Certification to help with regional center programs.

Tameka joins Legacy Kids as a Lead Behavior Technician, bringing a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to her role. Her career began as a store manager at Burberry, where she honed her skills in customer service and developed a keen ability to connect with diverse clientele. While she enjoyed her time in the luxury retail sector, Tameka felt a strong desire to make a more meaningful impact in the lives of children, leading her to transition into the field of behavioral therapy.
With a degree in Psychology from Cal State Long Beach, Tameka is equipped with a solid understanding of human behavior and development. She is passionate about using her expertise to support children with developmental challenges, helping them achieve their fullest potential. Her unique blend of professional experience and academic background enables her to approach her work with empathy and creativity.

Lead Behavior Technician
Jayson joins Legacy Kids as an Administrative Assistant, where he plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization. With a deep passion for the well-being of children, he is dedicated to supporting the team behind the scenes.
Currently attending Azusa Pacific University, Jayson is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing to further his career in healthcare. He also holds a certificate as an EMT. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball and cooking.

Steven joins Legacy Kids as an administrative assistant as well as being this website's designer. He works to keep the team members free so they can do what is important, being with your children. Steven has a heart for children, wanting the best for both their present and their future, and joins Legacy Kids to better do so.

Having a degree in Mathematics and Computer-Science from UC San Diego, Steven is equipped to tackle data or computer related problems for the team. He enjoys spending his free time playing golf and rock climbing with his friends.
